This week's featured Mutt from Compassion Without Borders is LINDA. 3-year old Linda may look like a cross between an Ewok and Teddy Ruxbin, but she's all Terrier and all adorable! Her favorite time of the day is when she gets to hang out with her canine pals and snuggle her people. She loves a good nap on a lap! She may be small (weighs 11 pounds), but Linda can be very spirited and vocal when she's on leash and encounters cats or other dogs...so she could benefit from some schooling in that area. Otherwise, Linda stays out of the drama and tends to have friends everywhere she goes – all sweet all the time. She is so ready for the better life she so deserves.
Each Wednesday, Dr. Christi Camblor from Compassion Without Borders joins us on The Morning Bull Ride to talk about The Mutt of the Week...a rescue dog sheltered at CWOB's "Muttopia" in Santa Rosa. Compassion Without Borders is a non-profit organization that rescues, treats, shelters, and adopts out dogs from the Central Valley of California and Mexico. These economically challenged areas have hundreds of dogs that are abandoned and in need of veterinary care and new homes. CWOB provides the vet care and brings them back to Sonoma County to find new homes. Christi says of these animals: "Their suffering knows no borders and neither does our compassion. It’s as simple as that."
